Wispr Flow is the best-known name in AI dictation, and it's a good product. This page is for the things it doesn't do: locking your words to the right window, letting your coding agents reach you, and EU data residency — plus where each of us stands on Linux.

There is no Wispr Flow for Linux, and none announced. Ours is in development: the X11 build runs — dictation, AI cleanup, window-lock targeting, agent popups — but Wayland and system-tray support aren't done, so Linux isn't a supported platform in this release and we don't offer a download for it yet. We'd rather say that than round up.
If you live in a terminal, that's the gap we're working on: your coding agents run where your dictation tool needs to be.
Wispr Flow is one-directional: you speak, text appears. Prodius closes the loop. Its MCP bridge lets Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP-capable agent reach you when it's actually blocked — a permission, a destructive action, a decision it can't make alone. The question appears as a popup over whatever you're doing; you answer by voice or a click, and the answer routes back into the right session. You decide when agents may interrupt, in plain-English project instructions.
If you never run agents, this won't matter to you — and Wispr is a fine choice. If you do, it's the difference between babysitting terminals and being findable.
Start with 14 days of Pro — unlimited dictation, no credit card. After that: 2,000 dictated words a week, unlimited agent popups, no end date. If it doesn't stick, nothing lost.
