Only dictated words — the text Prodius types for you. Answering agent popups, clicking approval buttons, and receiving notifications are free and unlimited on every plan, forever. We don't want a paywall between you and your own agents.
No credit card, ever. You'll create an account during setup so your settings and quota follow you across machines. Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro — unlimited dictation. After that you're on the Free plan: 2,000 words a week, with no end date. You never lose access to the app; only the unlimited part is temporary unless you upgrade.
Windows and macOS are fully supported. On Linux, Prodius runs fully on X11 today; Wayland support is in progress — see the platform notes on the developer page before installing on a Wayland session.
No. Prodius is cloud-based: transcription and AI cleanup run through our inference gateway. That's a deliberate trade-off for quality and speed. If offline, local-first processing is your hard requirement, an open-source local tool like Handy may fit you better — see our honest comparison.
Prodius stores no audio and no transcripts — processing is in-memory. Our AI providers process requests under API terms that exclude model training. On the Practice plan, processing additionally stays on EU infrastructure under a DPA. Full chain: subprocessor list.
Practice is €29 per user per month (€129/month for a 5-user bundle, €25 per extra user), billed centrally, cancel monthly. Prices exclude VAT. It starts with a short call and a pilot — plan one here.
